
The National Urban Dance Festival is a project that has been done since 2008, an event that was supported in its first version of the National Consultation Program (Ministry of Culture), the Municipality of Soacha and some private entities for Second Version of the Festival (2009), we had the support of the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra, Dance Management, the Municipal Government of Soacha (Department of Culture), the Mall Unisur and some private entities in the Third Version (2010) we have the support of the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra through concerted support District Programme 2010, the School Arts Festival (Secretary of Education District), the Centro Comercial Plaza Las Americas and private entities. The average among participants, direct and indirect beneficiaries and participants is about 3,500 people per version, this event is open tender, no limit participant groups and between the three versions have had the opportunity to involve clustering and Dancers from Cartagena, Bucaramanga, Piedecuesta, Manizales, Cali, Medellín, Buenaventura, Armenia, Villavicencio, Fusagasuga, Barrancabermeja and Bogota Soacha.
The National Urban Dance Festival DUNK FEST DANCE host is characterized by artistic dancers of different ages and parts of the country, thanks to the wide inclusion of Categories and Modalities for the same; Besides always count on previous versions with support International Judges invited directly by the FCA Dunk, thus providing transparency, fairness and a contribution of demand and projections for dance groups and participants.
